Toddlers/Preschoolers
Pre Ballet students will develop large motor skills which will later translate into ballet steps, social skills and studio etiquette through engaging songs, creative movement activities and the use of props. Must turn two years old on or before May 1st, 2021. Pre Ballet/Tap students will develop self confidence, coordination, social skills and studio etiquette. Ballet technique and tap concepts will be introduced in a fun and age appropriate manner via warm ups, across the floor, choreography and improvisation. Must be toilet trained. School Age Combos
Kinder Ballet/Tap/Jazz and Beginner Ballet/Tap/Jazz students will develop self confidence, independence, musical awareness, teamwork and strong work ethics. Ballet, tap and jazz terminology and technique will be introduced in an age appropriate manner through warm ups, barre, across the floor work, choreography and improvisation. These classes are strongly recommended for new students who are unsure which genre of dance will best suit them. Ballet/Lyrical
Intermediate, Advanced and Elite Ballet/Lyrical students will continue to learn proper ballet terminology and technique through warm ups, barre, across the floor work, choreography and improvisation while beginning to utilize dance as an expressive art form. Students will develop self confidence, coordination, balance, flexibility, stamina and muscle strength. Tap
Intermediate, Advanced and Elite students will get their hearts pumping in this energetic class! Students will explore concepts such as rhythm, beat and pattern through percussive footwork that exercises the thighs, calves, ankles and arches and balls of the feet. Jazz
Intermediate, Advanced and Elite students will learn various leaps, turns and tricks while improving their stamina, flexibility and strength. Warm ups, across the floor and choreography will be combined with upbeat, current age appropriate music as students explore qualities of performance such as body awareness, energy, spatial awareness, timing and focus. |
